YWAM Vancouver’s Mission Adventures program specializes in planning, organizing, and hosting short-term urban outreaches in the city of Vancouver. Most of the these groups are youth groups, but we also host adult teams.
We want to give participants a taste of urban ministry through:
Education about Vancouver and the realities of an urban ministry setting, such as poverty, human trafficking, and world religions
Exposure to urban ministry
Experience reaching out to people in the city
Our hope is that as participants engage in outreach to the city of Vancouver, they will see God's heart for Vancouver, and that this will serve as a catalyst for participants to get involved in what God is doing in their respective towns and cities.
