Welcome to our campus in Hesston, Kansas! Set in the wide-open beauty of the Heartland, YWAM Cross Wind is a place where the horizon is big and the opportunities to serve are even bigger. We provide students with a full lineup of training, high-energy worship, creative intercession, and just enough free time to breathe in the prairie air.
At Cross Wind, we believe your students are gifted with a unique role to play in the world. We invite them to do projects that may seem too difficult—at first. By putting their trust in Jesus, they discover they can do hard things and leave empowered to continue down that road for a lifetime.
Serving the Vulnerable
Our focus is simple but profound: To know God and make Him known. We provide a unique, 1-week outreach designed to serve the "least of these" right here in the Heartland.
Your team will serve foster kids and children of prisoners in a high-impact summer camp setting. This isn't just a trip; it’s a chance to bring hope to a world in darkness. Your students will:
Love Well: Show mercy to children who have experienced trauma.
Serve Practically: From serving food and washing dishes to teaching new skills.
Share Faith: Pray for families and bring the light of Jesus to the "least of these."
Grow Boldly: Step out of their comfort zones through interactive games and missionary-led training.
